Growing Older Does Not End Curiosity

Growing older gives us history, but history is not the same thing as completion. Adults can reach later chapters of life and discover questions they never had language for when they were younger. They may understand intimacy differently. They may become less interested in performance and more interested in trust. They may finally feel safe enough to examine a curiosity they spent years ignoring.
None of this requires turning life into a race against time. Maturity can offer something younger versions of ourselves did not always possess: perspective. The ability to distinguish curiosity from obligation. Desire from pressure. Possibility from necessity. You do not owe your age a smaller inner life.
The question is not whether you are too old to keep discovering yourself. The better question may be whether you are finally ready to listen without judging what you hear.
